Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held two phone calls with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic Antonio Tajani, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain José Manuel Albares, to discuss the latest developments in the region, condemn the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia targeting the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and emphasize the importance of protecting maritime navigation security.

During the two calls, the Minister of Foreign Affairs reviewed with his Italian and Spanish counterparts the regional developments in light of the current developments in the region, and the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest.

The discussions condemned and denounced the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia targeting the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with emphasis on rejecting such acts that pose a threat to security and stability.

The calls also addressed the importance of maintaining the security and freedom of maritime navigation in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea, as they are among the most vital shipping lanes, and stressing the need to protect navigation movement from any threats.
