University of Hail Implements 100 Community Initiatives

During the academic year 2025–2026, the University of Hail presented more than 100 community initiatives and events, benefiting 80,544 beneficiaries, with the participation of 15 colleges, as part of its efforts to enhance its developmental role and serve the community, and its contribution to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The university explained that the initiatives aim to enhance its role in serving the community, consolidate the culture of community responsibility, and provide qualitative programs that contributed to skills development, raising awareness, and improving quality of life, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. They included 43 events in health and preventive fields, and 14 educational and training events. The university concluded 9 community partnerships and agreements with government and private entities to enhance integration and cooperation in implementing initiatives with community impact. The average number of beneficiaries per event reached 805 beneficiaries, while the "Hail Tent 2026" initiative recorded the highest number of beneficiaries with 30,000 beneficiaries, followed by the "Develop Your Skills in Summer" initiative with 20,000 beneficiaries, in addition to implementing a number of qualitative initiatives in the fields of health awareness, innovation, culture, volunteer work, and legal rehabilitation.

During the academic year 2025, the university achieved qualitative achievements in the field of community responsibility, most notably winning the Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Award in its eighth edition for the Diploma in Media and Electronic Marketing for Prison Inmates initiative, in addition to receiving the Ministry of Education Award for the Best Qualitative Initiative Supporting the Educational, Training, and Digital Infrastructure in Prisons, confirming its role in empowering community groups and enhancing sustainable impact.
