An inquiry was received by the official account of the General Directorate of Passports in Saudi Arabia, from a follower, stating: "When will the service be available on Absher to renew the residence of the domestic worker for three months?"

The Passports Directorate, via its X page, pointed out that the service for renewing the resident ID for domestic workers for one or two years is currently available on the Absher platform, and an official announcement will be made when the service is updated.

Renewing Resident ID

The General Directorate of Passports had announced the possibility of renewing the resident ID electronically for those outside Saudi Arabia via the Absher platform, and this service allows renewing the resident ID for residents' companions and domestic workers easily online.

The resident ID for domestic workers can be renewed by logging into the Absher website, then selecting Labor Services, then Resident Services, then choosing the beneficiary, and finally Renewing Resident ID.

As for renewing the resident ID for companions, it requires logging into the Absher website, then going to Family Members Services, then Resident Services, selecting the beneficiary, and then Renewing Resident ID.
