Yemeni Prime Minister Receives Director of Saudi Program for Reconstruction in Aden
Yemeni Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya al-Zindani received, in Aden Governorate, the director of the office of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in the governorate, Engineer Ahmed Madkhali.
During the meeting, al-Zindani praised the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting Yemen, affirming that the Yemeni government views the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen as a strategic partner in implementing its development and service priorities, contributing to enhancing economic recovery and improving the level of services provided to citizens.
For his part, Engineer Madkhali reviewed the vital projects implemented by the program and those under implementation in Aden Governorate and other governorates, in direct coordination with the Yemeni government, in addition to the support of oil derivatives provided by the Kingdom through the program to operate more than 70 electricity generation stations across Yemen.
The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has launched about 300 development projects and initiatives, including completed and ongoing ones, covering 8 main sectors: education, health, transportation, water, energy, agriculture and fisheries, development programs, and government capacity development and support, across various Yemeni governorates.
