Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in the interim Yemeni capital of Aden continues its humanitarian mission towards the population in Yemen with generous and continuous support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian and development arm, the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, becoming a cornerstone in strengthening the Yemeni health sector and providing specialized care.

The hospital is an integrated medical facility, spanning an area of over 20,000 square meters, housing 14 specialized clinics and an advanced cardiac center, with a bed capacity of up to 270 beds, supported by 2,187 modern medical devices and equipment ensuring the highest levels of care.

The numbers reveal the developmental impact of this project; the hospital has provided more than 4 million medical services since its operation, with total medical consultations exceeding 1.5 million, and over 900,000 pharmaceutical prescriptions dispensed.

In terms of surgical and specialized care, the hospital has performed 26,860 surgical operations, while the specialized cardiac center has successfully conducted nearly 10,000 open-heart surgeries and cardiac catheterizations.

The provision of therapeutic services and surgical interventions is supervised by an elite team of qualified medical staff, working around the clock to ensure specialized care is provided to thousands of patients free of charge.

The Kingdom's efforts did not stop at providing treatment but extended to localizing expertise by hosting specialized training programs, including the Yemeni Fellowship in Cardiology, diplomas in intensive care and respiratory care, and Arab Board programs, reaffirming the Kingdom's strategic role in building Yemeni medical capacities.

These efforts come within the framework of the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, which continues to implement a package of strategic projects and sustainable development programs; seeking to achieve economic and social stability, improve the quality of life in various Yemeni governorates, consolidating the deep-rooted fraternal ties and strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and ensuring a more prosperous and developed future for Yemen.
