Riyadh police announced on Thursday the arrest of five citizens for involvement in promoting the narcotic substances hashish and methamphetamine (crystal meth), along with pills subject to medical circulation regulation, confirming their detention and legal measures taken against them before referral to the competent authority.

Public Security explained in a statement on its X platform account that the security authorities initiated legal procedures immediately upon apprehending the suspects, who were detained and necessary measures completed pending their referral to the competent authority.
