Al-Budaiwi: Houthi militia's targeting of southern Saudi Arabia is a terrorist act
Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi expressed his strongest condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist ballistic missile attack carried out by the Houthi militia targeting the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming that this cowardly assault constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and reflects the militia's insistence on undermining security and stability and threatening the safety of civilians and facilities.
The Secretary-General stressed that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia and its violation of all international laws and the ceasefire requires a firm and deterrent international stance that puts an end to its hostile practices and ensures accountability of those responsible, contributing to the protection of regional and international peace and security.

He affirmed that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the GCC states, and that the Council stands united with the Kingdom in all measures it takes to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
