(CNN) -- The Jordan News Agency (Petra) said Saturday that 'air defenses intercepted 10 Iranian missiles.'

According to the agency, the Jordanian army stated that 'air defenses intercepted and shot down 10 Iranian missiles that targeted the kingdom's territory.'

It added that 'the interception and downing operation resulted in no human casualties or material damage, and engineering corps teams have begun their tasks at the sites where shrapnel fell, working to handle and secure them according to established technical and security procedures.'

Neighboring countries were also subjected to attacks at the same time; Kuwaiti air defenses intercepted missiles as well, while both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia issued warnings to residents to take shelter in their places.
