The Israeli army arrested 37 Palestinians, including a woman and released prisoners, during a widespread raid campaign in the occupied West Bank at dawn Wednesday, according to the Prisoners' Media Office.

The Prisoners' Media Office (non-governmental) said in a statement received by Anadolu that Israeli authorities arrested 22 Palestinians, including a woman and released prisoners, in a campaign that included several governorates as follows:

In Tulkarm governorate (north), Israeli forces arrested 6 Palestinians, including a woman, after raiding their homes in the city and the town of Far'un.

In Jenin governorate (north), forces arrested 6 young men from the town of Qabatiya south of Jenin city.

It also arrested 3 Palestinians from Hebron governorate (south), and 3 others from Bethlehem governorate (south), after raiding their homes.

In Tubas governorate (northeast), it arrested two brothers from the town of Tamun.

In the town of Al-Ram in the eastern part of Jerusalem (west of the West Bank), Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian and his wife after raiding their home.

The office added that Israeli forces also arrested 15 workers from the Gaza Strip while they were in Qalqilya governorate (northwest), after assaulting them by beating.

Hundreds of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip were working in Israel, and after Tel Aviv launched the genocide on October 7, 2023, and closed all crossings, workers remained stranded in areas of the West Bank, and many of them were arrested and deported to Gaza.

The Prisoners' Media Office said that among those arrested were released prisoners, without specifying where they were arrested.

The office explained that the daily arrest campaigns come within the framework of an ongoing escalation policy in the West Bank, and are accompanied by home invasions, search operations, vandalism, and assaults on citizens.

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli army regarding the arrest campaign.

The West Bank has witnessed an escalation in attacks by the Israeli army and settlers since October 2023, resulting in the deaths of 1,182 Palestinians, in addition to the arrest of nearly 24,000 Palestinians, according to official information.
