Iranian state television announced that a drinking water facility in Ilam province in western Iran was hit by a missile attack.

The television said that 'a drinking water production facility near a village in Musian district of Ilam province was targeted by three missiles from the enemy.'

The Iranian television did not provide further details about the attack.

On Tuesday night/Wednesday, US President Donald Trump threatened to destroy all energy facilities and bridges in Iran if Tehran does not agree to sit at the negotiating table.

On Tuesday evening, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced new strikes and the resumption of the naval blockade on Iran.

Tehran responds by bombing what it says are US military facilities in Arab countries, but some of these countries have announced that Iranian attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and damaged civilian facilities.

On June 18, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding that included a ceasefire, and began negotiations mediated by Pakistan and Qatar to end the aggression that the US and Israel launched against Iran on February 28.

But US President Donald Trump announced on July 8 that the ceasefire had ended due to renewed escalation.
