The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, condemned in the strongest terms the treacherous Iranian attacks that targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and their targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities, which resulted in injuries to a number of civilian workers in the State of Kuwait.

His Excellency affirmed that Iran's actions constitute a highly dangerous escalation, a grave violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and war crimes that require international accountability and prosecution, as they involved targeting infrastructure and civilian facilities, in blatant violation of all international norms and conventions, and a deliberate attempt to undermine the security and stability of the region.

His Excellency stressed that the GCC stands united with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and supports all measures they take to protect their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, expressing his wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured in the State of Kuwait.
