The Kuwaiti army announced on Wednesday that air defense systems are currently confronting attacks by hostile drones, following what it described as 'the sinful Iranian aggression'.

The General Staff of the Army said in a statement that Kuwaiti air defenses continue to intercept drones targeting the country, stressing that the situation is under continuous monitoring.

It explained that the sounds of explosions that residents may hear result from interception operations carried out by air defense systems to confront hostile attacks, calling on everyone to adhere to the safety and security instructions issued by the competent authorities.
