أفاد مسؤولون أمريكيون وإسرائيليون بأن إدارة الرئيس دونالد ترمب وصلت إلى مفترق طرق في الحرب مع إيران، حيث تدرس خيارين: إما التوصل إلى هدنة جديدة لمدة 10 أيام لإعادة فتح مضيق هرمز، أو شن هجوم عسكري أمريكي إسرائيلي واسع النطاق لإرغام طهران على الاستسلام.

وأبلغ المسؤولون موقع «أكسيوس»، أن ترمب لم يتخذ قراراً بشأن أي الاتجاهين سيسلك، ولكن الأيام القليلة القادمة ستحدد أي المسارين سيسود، مع تضاؤل شهية استمرار الحرب المفتوحة التي تشل المنطقة. وأشار المسؤولون إلى أن واشنطن تدرس المقترح، كما حثت إسرائيل على تجنب اتخاذ خطوات قد تغلق نافذة الحل الدبلوماسي.

وقال مسؤولون إسرائيليون إن الجيش الإسرائيلي في حالة تأهب قصوى، ويستعد لاحتمال توسيع الحرب إلى حملة عسكرية واسعة، بالتنسيق مع الجيش الأمريكي خلال أيام.

10 ليالٍ من القصف الأمريكي

ورغم عشرة أيام متتالية من القصف الأمريكي، لا تزال إيران تسيطر على مضيق هرمز، وهو ما عمق الانخراط في الحرب. وأسفرت المواجهات عن سقوط ثلاثة عسكريين أمريكيين على الأقل، فيما قال ترمب (الإثنين) إنه أمر البنتاغون بأن يجعل إيران «تدفع الثمن أضعافاً مضاعفة» مقابل كل جندي أمريكي يُقتل في النزاع.

وقال المتحدث باسم البنتاغون شون بارنيل إن 100 عسكري أمريكي تعرضوا لإصابات متفاوتة منذ 7 يوليو الجاري، مع تصاعد الضربات على إيران.

كسر دائرة التصعيد

ويقضي المقترح الجديد الذي قدمه الوسطاء للطرفين بوقف القتال، وإعادة فتح ممرات الملاحة في مضيق هرمز، ومنح واشنطن وطهران فرصة لإنقاذ مذكرة التفاهم التي توشك على الانهيار. وقال أحد المصادر الإقليمية: أبلغنا الولايات المتحدة وإيران بأننا نقترح فترة لخفض التصعيد. ولم توافق واشنطن أو طهران على المقترح حتى الآن، ويبدو أن الطرفين يسعيان إلى تحسين موقعيهما التفاوضيين عبر مواصلة الضربات قبل الالتزام بأي هدنة، وفق «أكسيوس».

تفاصيل المقترح الجديد

وأعلن مصدر إقليمي أن الوسطاء يحاولون البناء على مقترح جرت مناقشته في مسقط يوم 11 يوليو، عندما طالبت الولايات المتحدة إيران بإعلان التزامها علناً بإبقاء مضيق هرمز مفتوحاً. وانتهت تلك المحادثات دون اتفاق، قبل أن تشن إيران هجمات على سفن تجارية في المضيق، ما أدى إلى إطلاق الحملة الأمريكية التي استمرت منذ ذلك الحين بشكل يومي.

ويقضي المقترح الجديد بإعادة فتح ممري الملاحة في المضيق بالكامل عبر المسار الجنوبي عبر المياه العُمانية، دون هجمات إيرانية، والمسار الشمالي عبر المياه الإيرانية، دون حصار أمريكي.

وخلال فترة وقف إطلاق النار، تجري الولايات المتحدة وإيران مفاوضات بشأن ترتيبات طويلة الأجل لتنظيم الملاحة في المضيق.

Among the proposed ideas is allowing Iran to collect "reasonable service fees" for maritime security services, environmental protection, and others, or directing these fees to a joint fund managed with the participation of the International Maritime Organization. The proposal cites the model of the Malacca Strait, where Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore impose fees for specific services instead of general transit fees.

Iranian Attack and the Death of Two American Soldiers

A regional source reported that efforts for de-escalation were making progress on Saturday before an Iranian missile attack in Jordan resulted in the deaths of at least two American soldiers, prompting Washington to retreat. A senior American official confirmed that communications are ongoing but stated that Trump "has not finished responding to the deaths of the soldiers." He added that the president is focused on making Iran pay for its violations of the memorandum of understanding and its continued terrorist activities in the Strait of Hormuz.
