The US military announced it has begun a new round of strikes against Iran, following an Iranian attack on a container ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement that this round is the third of strikes against Iran this week, "after Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces launched a blatant attack on the vessel M/V GFS Galaxy, a container ship flying the Cypriot flag while transiting the Strait of Hormuz."
