Britain: We stand with Saudi Arabia against Houthi threats
وزارة الخارجية البريطانية تصدر بياناً تدين فيه التصعيد الحوثي الأخير ضد السعودية، محذرة من تداعياته على الاستقرار الإقليمي والملاحة الدولية.
Britain strongly condemned the recent threats by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia, affirming its solidarity with the Kingdom against these threats.
A British Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement on Tuesday that 'these provocations threaten to increase regional instability, endanger freedom of navigation in the Red Sea, and undermine efforts to achieve peace in Yemen.'
He added emphatically: 'We stand firmly with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other partners in the region in facing these threats, and we call on the Houthis to immediately cease their escalatory actions.'
