29 violators of the environmental system arrested in several regions of the Kingdom
Similarly, six citizens were caught violating the instructions and guidelines for preserving vegetation by lighting fires in non-designated areas in the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and the Imam Faisal bin Turki Royal Reserve.
The forces also arrested three citizens who entered protected floodplains and meadows in the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed and King Abdulaziz Royal Reserves with their vehicles, and four residents (Pakistani, Somali, Sudanese, Yemeni) who exploited sediments in the Makkah and Madinah regions.
A Nepali resident was also caught for environmental pollution by dumping concrete materials in the Sharaan Nature Reserve, and two citizens for transporting local firewood in the Madinah and Riyadh regions, and three citizens for camping violations in the Imam Faisal bin Turki Royal Reserve and the Asir region.
The General Directorate of Border Guard arrested six citizens violating the security and safety regulations for marine activity practitioners in marine areas for committing the offense of fishing without a permit and using prohibited tools in the Makkah, Madinah, and Tabuk regions.
