Revolutionary Guard: Two Huge Oil Tankers 'Violating Regulations' Hit in Strait of Hormuz
The Revolutionary Guard announced that two huge oil tankers, which were violating regulations, were hit and put out of service.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that the Public Relations of the Revolutionary Guard said in a statement: 'Dear Iranian people, faithful and heroic, your sons in the naval force of the Revolutionary Guard stand firmly by their promise to defend the rights of the Iranian people in the Strait of Hormuz.'
Earlier, the US military attempted to push a number of ships to cross through an illegal route by inciting some naval vessels.
The statement added that two huge oil tankers, which were violating regulations, were deceived by America, turned off their navigation systems, ignored repeated warnings from the Navigation Safety Monitoring Center in the Strait of Hormuz, thereby endangering navigation in this passage, and preferred to pass through a mined route, which led to them being hit and put out of service.
The naval forces of the Revolutionary Guard warned everyone that cooperation with the aggressive enemy that came from far distances to violate the rights of the peoples of the region, as well as attempting to cross through mined routes, will only lead to regret, losses, and delays in reopening the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to causing a global energy supply crisis.
