The US air and missile strikes targeting six Iranian cities on July 8 and 9 have resulted in 17 dead and 115 wounded.

Iran's Tasnim International News Agency quoted the Iranian Health Ministry as saying that the US air strikes on six Iranian cities on July 8 and 9 led to '17 dead and 115 wounded.'

According to the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Health, 14 surgeries have been performed so far, 102 people have recovered and left the hospital, while 'unfortunately, 17 citizens were killed, including one woman.'

The United States had launched attacks on Iran on the past Wednesday and Thursday in response to Tehran's targeting of oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz last Tuesday.

US President Donald Trump also announced the end of the ceasefire with Iran, adding: 'For me, I think it's over. Dealing with them is just a waste of time.'

However, he said US representatives could continue negotiations, but he doubted their results.
