Bahrain and Jordan announced the success of their armed forces in repelling Iranian airstrikes, in the latest escalation in the region, confirming the raising of military readiness levels and the adoption of necessary defensive measures to protect their territories and the safety of civilians.

In Manama, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a number of Iranian airstrikes targeting the kingdom, stressing that all military units are on the highest state of readiness to deal with any threats.

The General Command said in a statement that Iran continues its 'systematic hostile approach' by targeting civilians in Bahrain, noting that the air defense systems confronted with 'high combat readiness and strong will' a number of Iranian aerial attacks carried out on Tuesday.

It affirmed that all branches and military units continue to carry out their duties while being on alert to defend the kingdom and protect its security.

The General Command called on citizens and residents to exercise caution, not to approach any strange or suspicious objects that may result from remnants of the attacks, and to report them immediately to the relevant authorities. It added that members of the Royal Engineering Field Unit are on full readiness to safely handle those objects technically, ensuring the safety of citizens and residents.

The General Command stressed that the use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, affirming its pride in the combat readiness and vigilance shown by members of the Defense Force in performing their defensive duty.

In Amman, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces announced that the army dealt, during Monday night and Tuesday morning, with five drones launched from Iran. The source explained that the armed forces neutralized the drones 'efficiently and accurately' according to the operational situation and approved defensive procedures, stressing that the operation did not result in any human injuries or material damage.
