The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced that air defense systems confronted, intercepted, and destroyed a number of Iranian aerial attacks that targeted the kingdom today (Tuesday).

The General Command affirmed that all weapons and units are at the highest levels of readiness and defensive preparedness to protect the kingdom, warning everyone not to approach any strange or suspicious objects that may result from remnants of the attacks, and to report them immediately.

It explained that the men of the Royal Field Engineering Unit are on standby to safely and technically handle those objects, to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.

The Bahrain Defense Force stressed that the deliberate use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
