The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced on Thursday that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a number of Iranian aerial attacks, affirming that its weapons and units are at the highest levels of readiness to protect the kingdom.

The command explained that its forces confronted the attacks with firm resolve and high combat readiness, warning citizens and residents not to approach any foreign or suspicious objects that may be remnants of the attacks, and calling for immediate reporting of them.

It affirmed the readiness of field teams to handle those objects technically and safely to preserve public safety, stressing that the use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

The General Command expressed its pride in the vigilance and advanced combat readiness shown by members of the Bahrain Defense Force in performing their duty and defending the homeland.
