Bahrain confirmed on Sunday its military readiness to defend itself against Iranian attacks targeting civilians in the kingdom.

The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force stated in a statement that Iran continues its systematic hostile approach through its criminal attacks with missiles and drones targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The General Command explained that "with firm will and high combat readiness, the air defense systems of the Bahrain Defense Force confronted, intercepted, and destroyed a number of treacherous Iranian aerial attacks on the morning of Sunday, July 12, 2026."

The General Command affirmed that all its weapons and units are at the highest levels of readiness and on full defensive alert to protect the kingdom.

The General Command also calls on everyone to exercise caution, avoid approaching or touching any foreign or suspicious objects resulting from the debris of the brutal Iranian attack, and report them immediately.
