Patrols of the General Directorate of Mujahideen in the Jazan region arrested a citizen for transporting in his vehicle violators of the border security system of Ethiopian nationality. They were stopped and legal procedures were taken against them, and the two violators were referred to the competent authority, and the one who transported them was referred to the Public Prosecution.

The official spokesperson for the General Directorate of Mujahideen confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of border security violators into the Kingdom, transports them inside it, provides them with shelter, or offers them any form of assistance or service, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, confiscation of the means of transport and the residence used for shelter, in addition to public defamation.

He explained that this crime is considered a major crime that warrants arrest and is a violation of honor and trust, urging reporting of violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations via phone number 911 in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 and 996 in the rest of the Kingdom's regions. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any liability on the reporter.
