Civil Defense: Early Warning Issued in Al-Kharj Governorate
The National Platform for Early Warning in Emergencies has issued an urgent warning to residents of Al-Kharj Governorate, alerting them of an imminent danger and urging them to follow a set of immediate preventive measures.
The competent authorities advised residents of the governorate to remain calm, follow official instructions, and immediately head to the nearest safe place inside a building or an interior room away from windows, staying there until the danger passes.
The instructions emphasized the necessity of not leaving homes or buildings until the danger situation ends, staying away from open areas and glass, and avoiding standing on balconies or roofs.
If a person is outside the building, they are directed to enter the nearest building or take shelter inside a car with a solid structure until the danger passes, while avoiding gatherings, photography, and staying away from dangerous locations.
As for those who were driving a vehicle at the moment the warning message was received, they are advised to stop in a safe place away from bridges and high-rise buildings.
To report any danger, you can contact emergency number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, or 998 in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
The competent authorities stressed the importance of obtaining information only from official channels, and adhering to the issued instructions until the situation is officially declared over.
