The General Directorate of Civil Defense stressed the importance of maintaining children's safety inside homes through a set of preventive measures, most notably: keeping them away from sharp objects, covering electrical outlets, checking the safety of electrical wires, as well as securing the stove and keeping the gas cylinder out of children's reach.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense called on citizens to follow safety guidelines and instructions announced through various media outlets and social media platforms to reduce the risks of home accidents.
