The Caspian Pipeline Company announced today that its maritime terminal was attacked by drones, resulting in the suspension of oil loading operations.

In an official statement, the company confirmed that two tankers were attacked, noting that no injuries or casualties were recorded among its employees or contractors, and no oil spill occurred; both tankers remained afloat, while damage assessment is currently underway.

The Caspian Pipeline (CPC) is the largest route for transporting oil from the Caspian region to global markets, extending 1,500 kilometers, connecting fields in western Kazakhstan to the Russian Black Sea coast, where oil is loaded onto tankers through the company's marine terminal.

The consortium operating the pipeline includes major global energy companies, foremost among them Russia's Transneft and Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas, along with Chevron, Lukoil, ExxonMobil, and a joint venture between Rosneft and Shell.
