Dubai, July 1 / WAM / Dubai Police General Command launched the 'Institutional Excellence Challenge' among police sectors for 2027, aiming to foster positive competition among them, entrench a culture of sustainable institutional performance, and stimulate quality initiatives and innovation, contributing to raising performance efficiency, developing services, and enhancing customer experience.

Major General Dr. Ahmed Zaal Mohammed bin Krishan Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Financial and Administrative Affairs at Dubai Police, said during the annual ceremony of the Excellence and Leadership Sector held at Dubai Police Officers Club, in the presence of Major General Saif Mohammed bin Abed, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Leadership Sector Affairs, directors of general departments, and a number of officers and employees, that the achievements made by Dubai Police at local, regional, and global levels were the result of unlimited support from the wise leadership, the efficiency of the institutional work system, and the commitment of its personnel to a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous development, which enhanced its position as a global model in institutional police work.

He added that the Institutional Excellence Challenge among police sectors for 2027 represents a new phase to enhance positive competition, entrench a culture of sustainable institutional performance, and stimulate innovation, supporting the raising of performance efficiency, service development, and enhancing Dubai Police's readiness to achieve its future goals, noting that the winners of the challenge will be honored during the annual ceremony in 2027.

He affirmed that honoring the winners of the Excellence and Leadership Sector awards reflects the Dubai Police General Command's keenness to entrench a culture of institutional appreciation, celebrate qualitative achievements, and motivate employees to continue creativity and excellence, ensuring sustainable development and leadership in police work fields.
