Gaza: Israeli genocide death toll rises to 73,233
and 173,707 injured, according to the Health Ministry in the strip.
Istanbul / Anadolu
The Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip announced Tuesday the killing of two Palestinians and wounding of 21 others in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll from the genocide perpetrated by Israel since October 2023 to 73,233.
In its daily statistical statement, the ministry said that the strip's hospitals received 'two martyrs and 21 wounded' in the past 24 hours.
The ministry did not clarify the circumstances of the two deaths and injuries, as the Israeli army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement through shelling and gunfire in various areas of the strip.
The ministry noted that 'a number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them until now.'
It added that the death toll from Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement since it took effect in October 2025 has risen to 1,110 dead and 3,599 wounded.
It stated that the death toll from the Israeli genocide since October 2023 has risen to 73,233 dead and 173,707 wounded.
The agreement was reached after two years of genocide that Israel started on October 8, 2023, which left, in addition to the casualties, widespread destruction affecting 90 percent of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
