The General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, based in the Tunisian capital, issued a statement expressing its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian targeting of the Saudi oil tanker "Wadiyan" and the Qatari tanker "Al-Rukaiyat" during their passage through the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to what it described as renewed treacherous aggression against the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In its statement, the Secretariat affirmed that these acts reflect the hostile approach pursued by Iran, violate religious and humanitarian values, international laws and conventions, and the principles of good neighborliness, noting that they represent a dangerous escalation that would expose regional and global economic interests to grave risks and threaten international peace and security.

The Secretariat renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and all Arab states, affirming its support for the measures taken by these states to protect their security, sovereignty, territorial integrity, installations, citizens, and residents.
