The General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers strongly condemned the repeated aggressions carried out by Iran and its proxies in the region, including attempts to target ships, threaten maritime navigation security, freedom of international trade, and global energy sources in the Strait of Hormuz, the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea, and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, as well as the systematic hostile practices targeting Arab countries in the region with ballistic missiles and drones.

The Secretariat stressed—in a statement today—that these aggressions constitute a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law and the principles of good neighborliness, affirming its full solidarity with Arab countries in facing these hostile acts, and its absolute support for all measures they take to confront these threats and protect their interests, security, stability, territorial integrity, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
