Government Media Office in Gaza:
We are following with extreme gravity the systematic Israeli escalation against unarmed civilians
The massacres represent a flagrant challenge to international agreements, charters, and humanitarian laws
The killings are escalating through the bombing of markets, funerals, gatherings of civilians, and homes
The Government Media Office in Gaza said on Friday that the Israeli army killed more than 25 Palestinians in 72 hours, in bombing targeting markets, funerals, gatherings of civilians, and homes.
That came in a statement after Israeli bombing targeted mourners in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of 8 Palestinians and the injury of 20 others.
The Media Office said: "We are following with extreme gravity the systematic criminal escalation practiced by the occupation army against unarmed civilians in Gaza, in a flagrant challenge to all international agreements, charters, customs, and humanitarian laws."
It added that "the killing operations and the genocide war are still ongoing at an escalating pace, carried out through the policy of bombing popular markets, funerals, gatherings of peaceful citizens, and safe residential apartments over the heads of their inhabitants."
The Government Media Office considered that this represents "a clear entrenchment of the approach of terrorism directed against everything alive in the Gaza Strip."
It continued: "The Israeli occupation persists in genocide and intensifies the bombing against civilians, killing more than 25 martyrs in 72 hours, in several brutal and horrific massacres."
The Media Office said that the escalation comes 280 days after the ceasefire decision.
It added that "the Israeli killing machine did not stop for a single moment."
The Media Office revealed that it has documented the Israeli army's violation of the ceasefire decision more than 3,750 times.
It considered that Israel ignores international and UN agreements and resolutions.
The ceasefire agreement entered into force on October 10, 2025, after reaching it in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh with American, Egyptian, and Qatari mediation.
Its first phase included a cessation of fighting, withdrawal of the Israeli army to agreed lines, exchange of prisoners, and entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, in addition to the formation of an international mechanism to follow up on its implementation.
However, Israel did not comply with the agreement, and still occupies more than 70 percent of the Strip's area and continues to kill Palestinians.
The Media Office asked: "Where are the mediators? And where are the sponsors of the ceasefire agreement?!"
It considered that "this suspicious silence and unjustified international inaction constitutes an implicit cover and a green light" for Israel to continue its attacks, according to the statement.
The Media Office condemned the continuation of the genocide war against civilians, women, and children in the Gaza Strip, and held Israel and all those who support it "by silence or weapons" responsible for its continuation.
It called on the mediators and the guarantor parties to the agreement "to immediately break their silence and condemn this blatant aggression and this genocide publicly and clearly."
It also called on them to exert actual pressure on Israel to compel it to implement the ceasefire decision.
According to data from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, until Thursday, resulted in the death of 1,127 Palestinians and the injury of 3,643 others.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocide war on the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023, Israel has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 173,000, in addition to widespread destruction that has affected 90 percent of civilian infrastructure.
