Head of the National Narcotics Control Authority Discusses Joint Cooperation with the National Guard Command
Abu Dhabi, September 23 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Head of the National Narcotics Control Authority, visited the National Guard Command in Abu Dhabi, where he was received by Major General Staff Pilot Saleh Mohammed bin Mujrin Al Ameri, Commander of the National Guard.
During the meeting, mechanisms for cooperation and coordination in a number of areas of common interest within the framework of national institutional security cooperation were discussed, particularly regarding efforts to combat narcotics and enhance community security.
His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan expressed his appreciation for the role of the National Guard in preserving the nation's achievements and enhancing its security and stability, stressing that cooperation between the two sides enhances the efficiency and readiness of all concerned authorities in confronting this scourge, and contributes to building a safe and healthy society free of narcotics.
For his part, Major General Staff Pilot Saleh Mohammed bin Mujrin Al Ameri affirmed that this visit represents an opportunity to enhance institutional partnership between the two sides, contributing to supporting efforts to combat narcotics, reduce their spread, and protect community members from their dangers.
