His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, met today in Jeddah with the Canadian Minister of National Defense, David McGuinty. During the meeting, they reviewed Saudi-Canadian relations and discussed bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in the military and defense fields, as well as regional developments and efforts exerted in this regard, contributing to achieving security and stability in the region and the world.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Deputy Minister of Defense; His Excellency General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff; His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs; and His Excellency Mr. Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, Advisor to the Minister of Defense for Intelligence Affairs. From the Canadian side, it was attended by Her Excellency Kristian Fox, Deputy Minister of Defense, and a number of officials.
