The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation in the strongest terms of the bombing that targeted a security checkpoint in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Islamic Republic of Pakistan, resulting in the deaths of a number of military personnel and a civilian.

In a statement, it said: "The Kingdom affirms its firm stance in rejecting violence, terrorism, and extremism in all its forms, and expresses its solidarity and sincere condolences to Pakistan, government and people, and its sympathy to the families of the deceased, with sincere wishes for lasting security and safety for Pakistan and its brotherly people."
