The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Prince Abdullah bin Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, held talks and meetings with senior British officials and leaders of leading British and international companies in the defense, aviation, and space sectors to discuss ways to enhance defense cooperation and partnership opportunities in advanced technologies, innovation, and industrial development, as part of his visit to the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow held in the United Kingdom.
Strategic Partnership
The discussions addressed ways to elevate defense cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries and contributes to maintaining regional and international security, in light of the close strategic partnership between the two countries and the role of defense cooperation as a fundamental pillar in bilateral relations.
He also met with a number of senior officials from the British Ministry of Defence, and held meetings with officials from several leading British and international companies. The discussions focused on areas of technology exchange, research and innovation, industrial development, and human capital development, in support of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and enhancing industrial partnerships between the two sides.
