The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced on Sunday that three land border posts in the north of the country were subjected to what it described as a 'sinful aggressive attack,' resulting in material damage with no casualties at those sites.

The official spokesman of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Staff Saud Abdulaziz Al-Attwan, said that one of the offshore drilling platforms of Kuwait Oil Company within the territorial waters was also targeted by a hostile drone, leading to material damage and injury to one worker.

Al-Attwan stated that the injured person is receiving necessary medical care, noting that the competent authorities immediately began implementing the necessary procedures to deal with the incident in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The General Staff affirmed the continued readiness of the armed forces, stressing the adoption of all measures and procedures to maintain the security and safety of Kuwait and its territory, and to continue monitoring developments and taking necessary actions to protect the country.
