The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait's condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the 'Iranian sinful aggression' that once again targeted energy facilities in Kuwait, as it again struck a power and water distillation plant in a direct attack on a vital civilian facility.

In a statement, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry affirmed that the repeated deliberate targeting of vital and civilian facilities reflects a systematic aggressive approach and represents a highly dangerous escalation and a serious threat to the safety and security of civilians.

In the same context, Kuwait added that the 'Iranian sinful aggression' constitutes a flagrant violation of the provisions of international law, international humanitarian law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.

Kuwait held Iran fully legally and morally responsible for these dangerous attacks and their resulting repercussions and consequences.

It stressed that the State of Kuwait reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to preserve its security and defend its territory and vital facilities against any aggression or threat, based on its inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter and the rules of international law.
