Settlers burned an occupied Palestinian home in the village of 'Tell' southwest of Nablus, northern occupied West Bank, on Saturday, according to local sources and the Palestinian Civil Defense.

Local sources told Anadolu that settlers burned a house that was occupied by residents in the village of Tell, causing significant material damage to the building.

The sources indicated that no report of injuries from the fire had been received.

For his part, the Palestinian Civil Defense said in a statement received by Anadolu that 'Nablus municipal firefighting crews dealt with a fire that broke out in a house in the village of Tell, after Israeli forces allowed the crews to enter the area, following a delay in their arrival after an attack carried out by groups of settlers during which they set fire to the house and its surroundings.'

The Civil Defense added that upon arrival, firefighting crews found the house completely burned, and worked to cool the site and ensure there were no burning embers or risk of fire spreading to neighboring areas, in addition to inspecting the place to ensure the safety of citizens.

The West Bank has seen an escalation in attacks by the Israeli army and settlers since October 2023, which according to official Palestinian data has resulted in the killing of 1,181 Palestinians and the injury of about 13,000, in addition to the arrest of nearly 24,000 Palestinians.
