A Palestinian mother lost her fetus on Tuesday after Israeli settlers attacked her home south of Hebron, while Palestinians were injured in settler attacks and Israeli army incursions in various areas of the West Bank.

Osama Mukhamara, an activist documenting Israeli violations in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron, said that citizen Ruqayya Rabi suffered 'shock and fear' after settlers attacked her home on Sunday in Tuwwana village in Hebron.

He added in a statement that the settlers threw stones at the house and burned it, and also burned the mosque and several houses in the village.

Mukhamara explained that the mother was taken to the hospital for treatment after the attack, but her health deteriorated on Tuesday, and after being transferred again to the hospital, it was found that her fetus had died as a result of the shock and fear she experienced, according to the statement.

In a related context, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA said that settlers attacked the outskirts of the town of Turmus Ayya east of Ramallah and its main entrance, setting fire to agricultural land and preventing citizens from extinguishing it.

The official Voice of Palestine radio reported that settlers burned the property of a Palestinian farmer in the town of Az-Zawiya west of Salfit.

Meanwhile, the rights organization Al-Baidar reported that settlers stormed the outskirts of the village of Jalud southeast of Nablus and set fire to agricultural lands, before residents confronted them, resulting in injuries among Palestinians.

Simultaneously, the Israeli army continued its incursions into several West Bank cities and towns, where a young man was bruised and battered after falling while being chased by Israeli soldiers in the town of Abu Dis, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.

The governorate published a video clip showing the young man stumbling and falling from a slope during the chase, then getting up and fleeing the scene while soldiers pursued him.

Several Palestinians also suffered suffocation during the army's storming of Dheisheh camp south of Bethlehem and the firing of gas and sound bombs, according to WAFA.

Voice of Palestine radio reported that clashes broke out during the army's storming of the towns of Sa'ir north of Hebron and Kafr Malik northeast of Ramallah, and the village of Deir Jarir east of Ramallah, where soldiers fired live ammunition and gas and sound bombs, and also fired sound bombs at Palestinians in the town of Beita south of Nablus.

During the first half of this year, settlers committed 3,488 attacks against Palestinians and their property, according to a report issued by the Commission of Resistance to the Wall and Settlement on July 6.

The West Bank has witnessed since October 2023 an escalation in attacks by the Israeli army and settlers, resulting in the deaths of 1,182 Palestinians and injuries to about 13,000, in addition to the arrest of nearly 24,000 Palestinians.
