Spain's celebrations after winning the 2026 World Cup witnessed a series of scenes reflecting poor acceptance of defeat by the Argentine team.

According to Sport newspaper, Roberto Fabian Ayala, assistant to Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni, got into a dispute with Spanish player Dani Olmo during the trophy celebrations.

These events followed clashes that broke out after the incident involving Paredes and Eric García.

When Dani Olmo approached the scene, Ayala happened to be there, a defender known throughout his playing career for his aggressive and strong tackling style.

Initially, it seemed that Scaloni's assistant was intervening to remove Olmo from the clashes, but he surprised everyone by throwing a punch to the neck area, leaving the Spanish player, who was standing next to Eric García, stunned.

After that, Eric García pushed Ayala, shocked by the behavior he witnessed.

This incident paints a negative image of Scaloni's assistant, who was always known for his exemplary conduct both in press conferences and on the pitch.
