Riyadh, Muharram 29, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 14, 2026 AD, SPA: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the strongest condemnation and denunciation by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the targeting of a number of Kuwaiti border posts, an oil drilling platform belonging to the Kuwait Oil Company, the attacks that targeted the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait in the city of Basra, the targeting of two UAE oil tankers while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran's continued threat to the security and stability of the region by targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Qatar. The Kingdom reiterated its complete rejection of Iran's violation of the sovereignty of sister states, its continued behavior destabilizing the security and stability of the region, and its violation of the principles of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the rules of good neighborliness.
