The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced that internal security forces managed to dismantle all members of the terrorist cell responsible for the recent Damascus bombings, through a series of simultaneous and coordinated raids targeting their scattered locations in Damascus and its countryside, including Al-Qutayfah, Sayyidah Zainab, Qudsiya suburb, and Ush al-Warur.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior revealed that the security operation was complex and carried out with precise intelligence follow-up, in cooperation and coordination with the General Intelligence Directorate.

It indicated that investigations with the detainees are ongoing to uncover all details of the terrorist plot and the cell's connections, prior to revealing their identities and roles to the public.
