Several areas in Iran experienced a series of simultaneous explosions at dawn Friday, concentrated in Bandar Abbas, Khorramabad, Ahvaz, and Qeshm Island. Iranian media reported activation of air defenses in Bandar Abbas and sounds of repeated explosions in several locations.

Iranian reports indicated an explosion in Khorramabad, capital of Lorestan province, along with explosions on the southern coast of Qeshm Island and Souza area, with preliminary reports circulating of a plane crash on the island.

Trump Considers Expanding Military Operations

Meanwhile, ABC News quoted US officials as saying that US President Donald Trump is considering returning to large-scale attacks on Iran, on the level of operations seen at the beginning of the war, indicating a potential new escalation in the confrontation.

Air Bridge and Military Movements

In the same context, reports spoke of establishing an air bridge for the US Air Force from bases in Europe to the Middle East, while the Telegraph newspaper reported that the US B-1 Lancer bomber took off from a British base to carry out a raid on Iran.
