بعد نحو تسعة أشهر من الصمت أمام قضاة التحقيق، قرر المتهمان الرئيسيان في قضية سرقة مجوهرات التاج الفرنسي من متحف اللوفر كسر صمتهما، وتقديم روايتهما حول واحدة من أكثر عمليات السرقة إثارة للجدل في فرنسا، وُصفت بـ«سرقة القرن».

وبحسب محاضر التحقيق التي نقلتها صحيفة «لوموند»، اعترف المتهمان، وهما (عبدالله ن. - 40 عاماً) و(غلام الله أ. - 36 عاماً)، بمشاركتهما المباشرة في تنفيذ العملية التي استهدفت معرض «غاليري دابولون» داخل متحف اللوفر، حيث تُعرض مجموعة من أبرز مقتنيات التاج الفرنسي.

عبدالله، الذي كان يعمل سائق تاكسي دون ترخيص واشتهر سابقاً بمقاطع فيديو لاستعراض الدراجات النارية، أوضح أنه تم تجنيده قبل أيام من السرقة مقابل مبلغ يتراوح بين 15 و20 ألف يورو، مع وعده بمكافأة إضافية إن كانت المسروقات كبيرة. وأرجع موافقته لظروفه المالية الصعبة، مؤكداً أن الهدف كان بيع المجوهرات لتحقيق أرباح.

أما غلام الله فقال إنه لم يكن يعلم أن العملية تستهدف متحف اللوفر، مدعياً أنه اعتقد أنها سرقة متجر للمجوهرات في باريس، وأنه لم يكن ليشارك لو علم بحقيقة الهدف، مشيراً إلى أنه تلقى وعداً بمبلغ يراوح بين 20 و25 ألف يورو مقابل دوره.

وكشفت الاعترافات تفاصيل جديدة حول طريقة تنفيذ العملية، إذ اجتمع أفراد المجموعة صباح 19 أكتوبر 2025 في ضاحية أوبيرفيلييه شمال باريس، قبل التوجه إلى المتحف باستخدام شاحنة مزودة برافعة صيانة ودراجتين ناريتين. واعتمدت الخطة على إيهام الموجودين بأنهم عمال صيانة، إذ ارتدى أحد أفراد المجموعة سترة عاكسة للضوء، فيما استُخدمت الرافعة للوصول إلى شرفة المعرض دون إثارة الانتباه.

عند الوصول، حطم المتهمان نافذة المعرض بآلة قطع كهربائية، ودخلا وكسرا واجهتين زجاجيتين وسرقا المجوهرات في دقائق. وأوضح عبدالله أن الخطة كانت إتمام العملية في أقل من ثلاث دقائق، لكن بطء أداة القطع أضاع وقتاً، مما دفعه لمساعدة شريكه لإنهاء المهمة قبل الهروب.

وأسفرت السرقة عن الاستيلاء على ثماني قطع تاريخية، من بينها تيجان وقلائد وأقراط وبروشات كانت تعود إلى ملكات وإمبراطورات فرنسيات، وتضم آلاف الأحجار الكريمة من الألماس والياقوت والزمرد، وتقدر قيمتها المالية بنحو 88 مليون يورو، إضافة إلى قيمتها التاريخية الكبيرة.

وخلال عملية الهروب، سقط تاج الإمبراطورة أوجيني من إحدى الحقائب بالقرب من المتحف، قبل أن تعثر عليه الشرطة لاحقاً وقد تعرض لأضرار كبيرة. واعترف عبدالله بأن التاج سقط منه، معرباً عن ندمه ووصف ما حدث بأنه «خطأ جسيم».

وبحسب التحقيقات، أقدم أفراد المجموعة بعد تنفيذ السرقة على سكب البنزين على شاحنة الرافعة في محاولة لإزالة الأدلة، قبل الفرار على متن دراجتين ناريتين والانتقال إلى سيارة أخرى استُخدمت للتمويه. وأكد عبدالله أنه نقل المجوهرات المسروقة إلى موقف سيارات تحت الأرض في أوبيرفيلييه، حيث سلمها لشخص مجهول وصفه بأنه «العقل المدبر» للعملية.

وأشار إلى أن هذا الشخص كان غاضباً لعدم تمكن المجموعة من سرقة عدد أكبر من القطع، موضحاً أن أشخاصاً آخرين كانوا بانتظار تسلُّم المجوهرات ونقلها إلى جهة غير معلومة. ورفض المتهمان الكشف عن هوية الشخص الذي وصفاه بالعقل المدبر، بدعوى الخوف على سلامة عائلتيهما، مؤكدين تلقيهما رسائل غير مباشرة تطالبهما بعدم الإدلاء بأي أسماء.

ورغم هذه الاعترافات، لا تزال السلطات الفرنسية تتعامل بحذر مع فرضية وجود عقل مدبر، إذ لم تُثبت التحقيقات حتى الآن وجود أدلة رقمية أو اتصالات تؤكد ذلك، لكنها لم تستبعد هذا الاحتمال.

ويواصل المحققون بحثهم في احتمالين رئيسيين بشأن مصير المجوهرات؛ الأول أن تكون القطع لا تزال مخبأة داخل منطقة باريس، والثاني أن تكون قد نُقلت إلى وسطاء تمهيداً لتهريبها وبيعها في السوق السوداء.

ويثير السيناريو الأخير قلق السلطات الفرنسية، خصوصاً مع احتمال تفكيك القطع التاريخية وصقل الأحجار الكريمة وبيعها بشكل منفصل، ما قد يؤدي إلى فقدان جزء من التراث الفرنسي إلى الأبد.

وفي ختام استجوابه، أكد عبدالله تحمله مسؤولية المشاركة في العملية، لكنه شدد على أنه لا يعرف ما حدث للمجوهرات بعد تسليمها، لتبقى القضية مفتوحة أمام مزيد من التطورات في انتظار ما ستكشفه التحقيقات القادمة.

After about nine months of silence before the investigating judges, the two main defendants in the case of the theft of the French crown jewels from the Louvre Museum decided to break their silence and present their account of one of the most controversial thefts in France, described as the "heist of the century."

According to the investigation records reported by the newspaper “Le Monde”, the defendants, (Abdullah N. - 40 years old) and (Ghulam Allah A. - 36 years old), admitted their direct involvement in executing the operation that targeted the “Galerie d'Apollon” inside the Louvre Museum, where a collection of the most prominent pieces of the French crown is displayed.

Abdullah, who worked as an unlicensed taxi driver and had previously gained fame from motorcycle stunt videos, explained that he was recruited just a few days before the theft for an amount ranging between 15,000 and 20,000 euros, with a promise of an additional bonus if the value of the stolen items was significant. He attributed his agreement to his difficult financial circumstances, confirming that the goal was to sell the jewelry and make substantial profits.

As for Ghulam Allah, he claimed he did not know that the operation targeted the Louvre Museum, asserting that he thought it was a jewelry store heist in Paris, and that he would not have participated had he known the true target, noting that he was promised an amount ranging between 20,000 and 25,000 euros for his role.

The confessions revealed new details about how the operation was carried out, as the group members gathered on the morning of October 19, 2025, in the suburb of Aubervilliers north of Paris, before heading to the museum using a truck equipped with a maintenance lift and two motorcycles. The plan relied on deceiving those present into believing they were maintenance workers, as one group member wore a reflective vest, while the lift was used to access the exhibition balcony without drawing attention.

Upon reaching the site, the defendants smashed a window of the exhibition using a power cutting tool, managed to enter, broke two glass display cases, and stole the jewelry within minutes. Abdullah explained that the plan was to complete the operation in less than three minutes, but the slow use of the cutting tool caused additional time wastage, prompting him to assist his partner in finishing the task before fleeing.

The theft resulted in the seizure of eight historical pieces, including crowns, necklaces, earrings, and brooches that belonged to French queens and empresses, containing thousands of gemstones made of diamonds, rubies, and emeralds, with an estimated financial value of about 88 million euros, in addition to their significant historical value.

During the escape, the crown of Empress Eugénie fell from one of the bags near the museum, before the police later found it with significant damage. Abdullah admitted that the crown fell from him, expressing regret and describing what happened as a "grave mistake."

According to the investigations, after executing the theft, the group members poured gasoline on the lift truck in an attempt to remove evidence, before fleeing on two motorcycles and transferring to another car used for camouflage. Abdullah confirmed that he transferred the stolen jewelry to an underground parking lot in Aubervilliers, where he handed it over to an unknown person he described as the "mastermind" of the operation.

He noted that this person was angry that the group could not steal a larger number of pieces, explaining that other individuals were waiting to receive the jewelry and transport it to an unknown destination. The defendants refused to disclose the identity of the person they described as the mastermind, citing fears for the safety of their families, confirming that they received indirect messages urging them not to name any names.

Despite these confessions, French authorities are still cautiously handling the possibility of a mastermind, as investigations have not yet established the existence of digital evidence or communications to confirm this, but they have not ruled out this possibility.

Investigators continue to explore two main possibilities regarding the fate of the jewelry; the first is that the pieces are still hidden within the Paris area, and the second is that they have been transferred to intermediaries in preparation for smuggling and selling them on the black market.

The latter scenario raises concerns among French authorities, especially with the possibility of dismantling the historical pieces and refining the gemstones to sell them separately, which could lead to the permanent loss of part of the French heritage.

At the end of his interrogation, Abdullah confirmed his responsibility for participating in the operation, but emphasized that he does not know what happened to the jewelry after it was handed over, leaving the case open for further developments as investigations continue.
