The United Kingdom ​Maritime Trade Operations received a report on Sunday of ‌an incident ‌30 nautical ​miles ‌southwest ⁠of ​Yemen's Hodeidah, ⁠where a cargo vessel triggered a distress ⁠alert stating ‌it ‌was ​under ‌attack ‌by unknown armed assailants. Authorities were investigating, and ‌vessels were advised to transit with ⁠caution ⁠and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO, the agency said.
