US Central Command Announces Resumption of Blockade on Iranian Ports and Launch of Additional Round of Strikes

Washington, July 14 (QNA) - The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced this evening the launch of an additional round of strikes against Iran.

The US Central Command said in a statement, "These strikes aim to continue undermining Iranian capabilities used to attack commercial shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz."

It indicated that its strikes come at a time when US forces have begun resuming the naval blockade of Iranian ports and coastal areas.

US President Donald Trump announced yesterday, Monday, the re-imposition of a naval blockade on Iran to ensure the freedom and safety of international navigation.. Meanwhile, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) carried out three waves of military strikes against Iran over the past few days.
