وزير الحرب الأمريكي يرفع سقف تهديداته لإيران: سنضرب بـ 10 أضعاف

تأتي هذه التصريحات في وقت تشهد فيه المنطقة توتراً متصاعداً بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران على خلفية الهجمات البحرية والمسيّرة.

توعد وزير الحرب الأمريكي، بيت هيغسيث، اليوم الثلاثاء، برد عسكري أشد بعشرة أضعاف إذا واصلت إيران هجماتها على السفن التجارية ودول المنطقة، مشيراً إلى أن طهران أضاعت كل فرص التفاوض. وخلال مؤتمر صحفي في البيت الأبيض على هامش لقاء الرئيس ترمب ونظيره اللبناني، قال هيغسيث إن إيران فوتت كل فرصة للحوار، مؤكداً أن الرئيس الأمريكي يملك خيارات متعددة للتعامل مع التصعيد.

وتابع: «إذا ما أرادوا الحديث يمكنهم الحديث وإلا سيواجهون وزارة الحرب الأمريكية»، موضحاً أن إيران تمتلك ترسانة أسلحة ضخمة تشكل تهديداً يستدعي موقفاً حازماً. وشدد على أنه إذا استمرت الهجمات الإيرانية فسيتم الرد بعشرة أضعاف، يوماً بعد يوم وليلة بعد ليلة.

من جهة ثانية، أعلن مطار أربيل في كردستان العراق، اليوم، تعليق الرحلات الجوية بشكل مؤقت، في أعقاب هجمات بطائرات مسيّرة استهدفت القنصلية الأمريكية في الإقليم.

وقال مصدر أمني عراقي إن الدفاعات الجوية التابعة للقنصلية الأمريكية في أربيل تصدت لـ3 طائرات مسيّرة حاولت استهداف مبنى القنصلية.

من جهة أخرى، أعلنت وزارة الداخلية البحرينية انطلاق صفارات الإنذار مساء اليوم، وطلبت من المواطنين والمقيمين الهدوء والتوجه لأقرب مكان آمن.

The U.S. Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, warned today (Tuesday) that Iran would face a military response ten times stronger if it continued its attacks on commercial ships and countries in the region, explaining that Tehran has squandered all available opportunities for negotiation. The U.S. Secretary of Defense stated during a press conference at the White House on the sidelines of a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Lebanese counterpart Joseph Aoun that Iran has missed every chance for communication and dialogue, noting that the U.S. President has multiple options to deal with the escalation.

He added, "If they want to talk, they can talk; otherwise, they will face the U.S. Department of Defense," indicating that Iran possesses a large amount of weaponry, which poses a threat that requires a firm stance. He pointed out that if Iran continues its attacks, it will be struck tenfold, day after day and night after night.

On another note, Erbil Airport in the Kurdistan region of Iraq announced today the temporary suspension of flights following drone attacks targeting the U.S. consulate in the region.

An Iraqi security source stated that the air defenses of the U.S. consulate in Erbil intercepted three drones that attempted to target the consulate building.

The security source mentioned that the air defenses also intercepted a fourth drone that tried to target the consulate building.

On another front, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced the activation of alarm sirens this evening and urged citizens and residents to remain calm and head to the nearest safe location.

وتتزامن هذه التهديدات مع هجمات بطائرات مسيّرة استهدفت القنصلية الأمريكية في أربيل، مما دفع مطار أربيل لتعليق رحلاته مؤقتاً. كما أطلقت البحرين صفارات الإنذار تحسباً لأي طارئ. ويبدو أن المنطقة تشهد تصعيداً عسكرياً قد يخرج عن السيطرة إذا لم تحتوِ الأطراف.
