The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has selected 12 goals scored at the 2026 World Cup to compete for the best goal award in the tournament, including 3 goals that hit the net of Morocco, Algeria, and Qatar.

FIFA chose 12 goals, including Lionel Messi's first goal against Algeria with a powerful shot that hit the net of goalkeeper Luka Zidan, Wilson Ediour's goal for Haiti against Morocco, and Karim Alajibegovic's goal against Qatar.

The list included Elijah Just's goal for New Zealand against Iran, Frenchman Kylian Mbappé's goal against Senegal, Dazen Maeda's goal for Japan against Sweden, and Uzbek Eldor Shomurodov's goal against the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Among the selections were Sidney Lopes Cabral's goal for Cape Verde against Argentina, Erling Haaland's goal for Norway against Brazil, Argentine Julián Álvarez's goal against Switzerland, Jude Bellingham's goal for England against France, and finally Ferran Torres's goal for Spain in the final match against Argentina.
