The Ministry of Sports continues to activate the "Community Sports in Public Parks" initiative, as Al-Raddaf Park in Taif Governorate will host various activities next Friday with the participation of 7 sports federations and committees, as part of the ministry's efforts to promote physical activity and activate public spaces with community sports programs.

The participating entities in the initiative include: the Saudi Wrestling Federation, the Saudi Boccia Federation, the Saudi Rescue and Water Safety Federation, the Paralympic Athletics Federation, the Saudi Weightlifting Federation, the Saudi Pigeon Racing Committee, and the Saudi Masters Sports Committee.

The participating entities offer introductory booths and interactive activities that allow visitors to learn about different sports and engage in various sporting experiences under the supervision of specialists, in addition to a sports interaction area and a main stage hosting events and accompanying activities.

The initiative aims to provide visitors with the opportunity to practice sports activities in a safe environment suitable for all groups, contributing to spreading sports culture, enhancing community participation, and encouraging community members to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle.

This initiative comes within the framework of efforts to expand opportunities for physical activity by activating parks and public spaces, supporting the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 goals toward building a vibrant and active society.
