Abha's management is intensifying negotiations with defender Abdullah Al-Fahd to renew his contract ahead of the new season in the Saudi Roshn League, according to a source told Arriyadiyah. Despite Al-Fahd's contract having expired on June 30, he continues training with Abha as part of the first phase of the preparatory program under the supervision of Croatian coach Damir Burić. Burić has included youngsters Hussein Ali and Abdullah Al-Hadri, players from the youth categories, in daily training to assess their level before departing for the external camp. Abha leaves for its camp in Slovenia on July 16, which will continue until August 1, and will include four friendly matches. Meanwhile, the technical committee is studying a number of files of local and foreign players, in preparation for signing some of them before the start of the external camp.
